Our History
Three decades of growth
1994
Founded in North York
Dr. Arjun Mehtani opens the first Med-Health collection centre at 1216 Lawrence Avenue West. The laboratory receives its Ontario licence within the first year.
2001
Expanding across Toronto
Second and third locations open in Riverdale and Downsview to serve growing patient demand across the city.
2008
Brampton and Mississauga expansion
Med-Health extends into the GTA West, opening four Brampton and three Mississauga collection centres over two years.
2014
Digital results portal launched
Ontario's first community laboratory to offer a secure online patient portal for direct result access without waiting for a physician appointment.
2019
20 locations and growing
Expansion continues into Scarborough, Vaughan, Aurora, and Newmarket. ECG testing added at all flagship locations.
2024
30 years of service
Med-Health celebrates three decades with 24 locations, EMR integration with all major Ontario systems, and an updated patient portal launching in early 2026.
