Blood Lab Testing

Our primary service. Hundreds of individual tests and panels — from routine annual check-ups to specialty assays.

A physician requisition is required for most blood tests. Processing happens at our certified laboratory, with results delivered directly to your ordering provider and available in your patient portal.

Fasting may be required for some panels — check your requisition. Walk-ins are welcome; no appointment necessary.

ECG (Electrocardiogram) Testing

A 12-lead ECG measures your heart's electrical activity and is commonly ordered to assess cardiac rhythm, detect arrhythmias, and evaluate chest pain.

The procedure is completely painless and takes approximately five minutes. A trained ECG technician will attach 10 electrodes to your chest, arms, and legs. Wear comfortable, accessible clothing.

Results are processed on-site and transmitted to your requesting physician typically within the same business day. A physician requisition is required.

What to expect

Urine Testing

Routine urinalysis, culture & sensitivity, drug screening, pregnancy testing, and more — all available at every Med-Health location.

Most urine tests can be performed as walk-ins. Culture & sensitivity requires a physician requisition and takes 3–5 days for results. Routine urinalysis results are typically available within 24 hours.

Clean-catch mid-stream collection containers and printed instructions are available at the front desk. A private washroom is available at every location.
